Taking the lift might get some getting used to but it is part of the ride. Remember, once you reach the top, it’s only fun and adrenaline all the way down.
Is it as simple as it looks?
Practice lowering your body while keeping your core tight and a 90 degree angle with your knees. Make sure you master it on a flat surface before taking things to a steeper slope.
Test the heel stop, the hockey stop or the snow plow. Pick your favourite and then practice some more. There is nothing like a confident snowskater with a cool attitude.
