Vrådal, Telemark — real Norwegian winter
Vrådal is in Telemark, known for authentic Norwegian nature and winter history and it is where officially skiing was invented. The first Olympic fire for the Winter Olympics, was lit in Telemark in 1952.
Vrådal Panorama features one of the few 8-seater chairlifts in Norway.
Late January is typically snow-safe and perfect to experience winter in Norway.
Oslo is easy, safe, and walkable
Oslo is clean, safe, and tourist-friendly — and most key sights are within a 30-minute walk from the central station the Munch museum, the Opera, the royal castle etc.
